Dear Dr. Lam,

I found out about you from Realself and then saw couple pictures of uneven eyelid surgery that you performed. It was perfect after the result. I have 1 small eye and 1 bigger eye, 10 years ago I got eyelid surgery thought to make it even but ended up with double eyelid instead because I did not understand the procedure at that time.

2 years later after that I had another surgery on smaller eye try to make it big like the big eye, the result wasn't good, the lid is not proper. Then I had a forehead lift few years ago try so the smaller eye would look a little bigger but it didn't help.

I wish I knew about you and have went to you instead.

Regarding to my case, my eyebrow is not even. Now I still want to fix the lid on the smaller eye to make a little bit bigger so that the lid would not be out of place. Please see attached picture and see if you can help to fix it. Thank you.

what you have is very hard to fix, especially after two prior procedures and browlifting. i do not think i can get it within a reasonable degree of correction to be worth coming to see me in my opinion. at least i can say we are all asymmetric to a certain extent, which may not be comforting to you but we all have some underlying asymmetry that it is hard for me to eliminate regardless of the cause. i say that in my consent forms: "The two sides of the body are not the same and can never be made the same." I really wish i could help you. what you see in my photos is natural asymmetry caused by one fold being incomplete making the eyelid appear smaller on that side. that is something that in over 90% i can at least improve if not entirely correct. your situation is considerably harder to manage. i am sorry about that.
