Fillers over fillers...

Fillers over fillers...

Postby Mysteryagain » Mon Sep 15, 2008 7:57 pm

Hello dear Doctor!
I have not found them, but maybe didn't look hard enough. Did you post more pics of your last trip?

My question is simple: an area that was filled one day with, say, Artefill, can later have Restylane injected over? some days after?
I am asking because I see the indications for fillers vary depending sometimes on the area (some are approved for x thing, some for many others, etc.). But some areas sort of "overlap", I guess. Say, if I had (no, not me, I don't plan to, just an example) Artefill in the nasolabial folds (for which it is indicated), could I still get some days after Restylane in the base of the nose or nostrils or somewhere "close" or even too close to the nasolabial folds where the particles of the different type of filler are?

Or are non-same-family fillers not compatible in one same area? (not injected at once, but in the same area, that is).

Hugs and hope to find more pics and stories about your trip.
BTW, excellent blog entries lately. I have forwarded (quoting the source!) many of your writings to some people I trust: good food for thinking!
