timetables

Postby frangipani » Tue Sep 09, 2008 2:09 am

Hello Dr Lam,

I promise not to hold you to this, but can you tell me approximately how many weeks ahead you usually get booked for surgery at the beginning of the year? I am wondering if I might manage to come over and see you for a consult (say early jan) and then follow it up with surgery before I leave the northern hemisphere (say early feb)? The idea being that we get to meet and talk before I take the final step and book in for a procedure...It would hang on whether that month or so turn around was enough time to secure a surgery appt after the consult. Just checking it out and if it's unlikely to be possible, no worries, I would then think about just coming to talk this time and delaying the actual surgery a little.

Kindest regards

Hi,
To be honest, that is my second busiest time of year plus I routinely book several months ahead for everything. However, you might get lucky. :)
Best,
SML

Okay, thanks. At least I know and can plan around that. I won't count on getting lucky
