Stephens Johnson Syndrome-teary eyes

Postby sherille » Tue Sep 02, 2008 12:27 pm

My nephew eyes tear all the time. I know it bothers him and he is constantly having to wipe his eyes and it's usually with his hands. He is 20 years old. When he is 3 years old he was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with SJS. Twice a day for 30 days his eyes were scraped with an utensil to keep them from forming a film. It did some sort of damage to his eyes. I am not sure if there is anything you can do to help him out.

Thanks.

Hi,
I appreciate your trust with me, but to be honest this needs to be managed by an ophthalmologist or internal medicine/rheumatology specialist. i am really focused on facial aesthetic work and not functional eye issues.
best,
sml
