Hi Dr. Lam,

I hope this is an appropriate question to ask you, If it isn't I understand. I am just looking for a second opinion from someone like you. I had my lips injected 1 week ago today. The bruises have gone away but the top and bottom lip is painful. I moved my tongue around the inside bottom lip area and I feel litte bumps deep down, could those be sores. In your opinion, after bruises go away on lips, should they still hurt after a week? Also, I though the lips were the fastest healing on our face. My pain could be unique or common, I don't know.

I typically do not see pain after a week. however, i would guess that one could still be sore. again, please ask your physician these questions. i really have no idea what that individual did exactly.
