Hello Dr. Lam,
I would like to know what you think about mole removal cream that claims to remove the mole, root and all, while leaving little or no scar. Does this really work? Is it harmful for the skin?

I heard that flat lesions (moles without root) can be removed by laser and often without leaving a scar or white spot. Do you offer this service? And if yes, how much does it cost? Thanks.

i do that for freckles not moles. moles are really really really hard to remove with lasers unless you are using a burning type laser like CO2 which in my opinion is a WMD (weapon of mass destruction) because you can lose skin color. i prefer a very controlled hot tip cautery device to do the job. i only do that for very flat moles that do not look suspicious.
