Product leftover

Postby Christina » Wed Jun 18, 2008 8:55 pm

Hi Dr. Lam,

I had restylane injected into my cheeks (all areas for balance) and nasolabial folds and under my eyes. Everything looks great. The problems is, I have more then a half of a syringe left still. The doctor will only keep my restylane for a month and so far I have only 2 weeks left. I do not want to waste this product as I paid good money for it. The doc recommended doing my lips with the rest of the leftover product, but I am not too keen on getting my lips done. I am 29 years old and my lips look fine as they are.

I do have a lot of acne scars but not too bad. Can restylane be used for post acne. Where else could he put this valuable product. I can not stand the thought of him discarding it. Any thoughts?

Oh, let me clarify that, the doctor used more then one syringe of course to do all my areas, he just added another syringe to finish my eyes and that is where the leftover product comes in.

I didn't want you to think he did all my areas with one syringe and me having some left over still.

this is really a judgment your doc needs to give you not me. i have not seen you and i have not seen your lips. it does not make sense for me to give you that kind of advice. i am sure you have a good doc. just ask him.
