to much fat.

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

yes and no. reducing fat in the face is a nightmare for the following reasons:
1. open liposuction or regular liposuction of the face can potentially lead to contour deformities. i had one lady that i begged her not to do it. she went down the street and was left with contour deformities, which i fixed several months ago with fat grafting.
2. although the accent xl can help shape and contour jowls and neck non-surgically, it is not equal to liposuction or lifting.
3. mesotherapy and lipodissolve simply are not great in the face and really don't work that well as a standalone treatment modality.
