Question about lips

Hello Dr. Lam,

this may seem odd but my lips (particularly the top lip) is changing color and is turning dark like a dark purplish/grey color. what can i do about this...?

i have really no idea. my official recommendation is to see a dermatologist. it could just be a benign thing or it may merit more immediate attention. obviously, i have no idea since i am not a dermatologist and do not know your situation. i wish i could help, but it would be unwise for me to do so.
