fat grafting to buccal area

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

fat grafting to buccal area

Postby belinda » Mon May 19, 2008 2:30 pm

do you do fat grafting to the buccal area? i have heard that you can't do it there because it can go lumpy or wavy?

also when is your next available slot for surgery? are you booked up a long time in advance?

thanks
belinda

i am doing it tomorrow for a lady who flew in from spain principally in her buccal area to balance out some pretty bad permanent injectables that she had in the upper face. my buccal results are SMOOTH! i am booked out 2 to 2.5 months right now. if you want to schedule, contact constanze@lamfacialplastics.com and 20% will secure a date. this is a slow time for me but in a couple of months i will be probably booking out 3 to 4 months as Fall approaches.
best,
sml

pricing for small procedure

Postby greggpow » Mon May 19, 2008 7:04 pm

I know you charge 8k for the full facial fat grafting and rarely deviate from that pricing bc u usually end up injecting fat all over the face to achieve the best result.

But can you give us an idea of what you would charge for a case where you will truly be doing ONLY the buccal area like this woman from Spain.

Thank you

she is actually getting more than that with treatment in her prejowl sulcus and a little bit in the upper face as well. just mainly in the buccal region. that is her primary deficiency that i am working on. i would have to make decisions on a case by case basis as far as pricing is concerned. in general, i do not really deviate from my pricing.
