During fat grafting, can you add fat to a nose to give it a better profile? Also I've read that some people use botox to temporarily lift the nose tip, can you do this?
fat grafting can be done for the nose. i do one probably once every other month. the hold is moderate. it is not as predictable as silicone micro droplets but i would have to see you to make sure you are even a candidate. many people think they are until i lay my professional eyes on your nose. everything has to be balanced. i will be featured this tuesday on wfaa abc news in dallas on injectable rhinoplasty. the botox to the tip of nose can raise it slightly. it is more effective to address a tip that droops during smiling as it blunts the effects of the depressor septi muscle. it usually does not tend to rotate the nose much. also, this treatment is obviously short lived like 3 months.

Thanks for the reply.
I'm assuming if silicone is used, then it will rule out a nose job in the future?
Will adding a bit of fat to the nose make it hard to have nose surgery down the road?
whenever you put permanent fillers in first, it is not a great idea if you are considering a future rhinoplasty. if you even have a remote chance you would entertain rhinoplasty, the only injectable that would be okay is restylane/perlane. those can be dissolved out prior to a formal rhinoplasty. plus, they hold very well for a long time in the nose. if you are local, watch the segment tonight on channel 8 news, ABC. it will be on my restylane rhinoplasties.

The WFAA website is saying 10:00 PM (central time) tonight for your feature. Actually, that info is appearing in a banner at the top of their site.
Now, I hope that is correct or rather, it doesn't change.
it is correct. i watched the preview for the segment at 5 pm tonight. plus my patients and i heard it being promo'd all day on the radio 103.7 and 106.1. it is definitely on at 10 pm CDT.

in building up the bridge between the eyes, does the pulling of the skin in between the eyes change the shape of the eyes at all? even in a minuscule way?
most likely not. the answer in reality is no. the reason for the first answer is to be more conservative because everyone starts seeing things differently after a procedure but truly it should not affect the eye shape whether you want it or not.
