LFP Cookies-you seem to be everywhere/also my bat-like neck

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

LFP Cookies-you seem to be everywhere/also my bat-like neck

Postby MementoMori » Thu May 15, 2008 6:50 pm

So I was driving my new car today with my new iPod all rigged up and whose voice appears between Weezer and Metallica? Of course-Dr. Lam expounding upon the virtues of anterior cheek fat grafting. Good grief, man!

Seems I'm not on great terms w/technology. O.k., I'll figure out how to fix my iPod situation myself.

My question: Is there anything to be done about my bat-like neck? Now my LFP improved face looks too good for my neck. I have a little bat-wing, loose skin exactly where my chin joins my neck (to be highly technical).

Is there anything surgical (without f/l) to be done? I know this is a small matter, but this neck looks wrong juxtaposed w/my face IMO.

Thanks!!

P.s. I'm hoping any solution would allow the juxtaposition to remain, of course.

hi beautiful,
as far as the "bat" is concerned", i just reviewed your photos from may 9th, and i don't think you have to be a nocturnal creature just yet. you are DEFINITELY NOT a candidate for anything surgical there just yet. in the past, i have tried just platysmaplasties without a formal facelift and have been disappointed in the results. however, even a platysmaplasty in your case would be insane. the only thing i would recommend to help a bit (without overselling this) is radiofrequency tightening with Accent XL. it is not equal to surgery, but you really don't need surgery yet. don't worry, i won't be singing any songs on your iPod anytime soon. o/w you may stop subscribing to my podcasts.
