Restylane lumps

Postby Ashton28 » Thu May 15, 2008 1:01 am

Dear Dr. Lam, I will make an appointment with you for a consultation about restylane lumps under my eyes. These lumps have been there for a year. You said you could remove them with vitrase.

Question: Adjacent to the area where the lumps are, I have some sculptra on the cheekbones. Will the sculptra interfere or be affected by the vitrase? Should I wait until this sculptra goes away?

Do you think you will be able to do more restylane under the eyes after the lumps are removed? What determines whether restylane lumps form under the eyes?

Thank you for this informative website.

yes, i can dissolve the restylane lumps IF THEY ARE NOT SCULPTRA LUMPS. that is a very important distinction. i can put more restylane in after dissolving it but i would wait at least a week if not greater for the vitrase to take effect (usually within a day or so) and all swelling to subside post injection. restylane and vitrase have nothing to do with how much sculptra is there so you don't have to worry about that.
