no problem. they're very cute!
Dr. Lam, Aw, thanks! (They are really sweet, too). Having kids, in my opinion, is one of those life-changing events. Sure, it can be a challenge at times, but the rewards are so worth it. Every day I stop to appreciate the blessings and my children (and husband) are at the top of that list. My little ones have such a zest and love for life! Their attitudes remind me not to sweat the small stuff. They're all about JOY! Don't you think us grown ups should be more like that? I read your blog recently and see that it's on your list of things you want to do someday. From everything I've read about you, you'd make a wonderful parent. It really is the best job in the world!
Datayers, your children are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! So cute!! They do look like sweet ones, too!
My husband, daughter (11) and I just returned from a week in Japan. Japan is full of beautiful women!!!! I really think Dr. L should spend more time over there. I kept seeing these uber-cute little children and couldn't help thinking they looked like little Lam-kins. Ahhh, but let's not put more pressure on the man. He's busy. Oh! and in Narita airport I saw a group of what has to be the world's most beautiful flight attendants....they were Korean Airlines? I don't know... they were all wearing very classic beige pencil skirts, major heels and robin's egg blue SILK blouses w/matching silk caps--so striking with sleek black hair and gorgeous skin. I was stunned by their collective beauty.
I too, love children. I taught second graders for a decade before the birth of my daughter. My best advice for anyone is to always talk to children as if they are the most intelligent person you know. Actually, that might be applicable to most discourse, no?
MomentoMori, A trip to Japan - how wonderful! I'll bet you had a great time! Thanks for the compliments about my children. We are having a great summer and I'm trying to enjoy them as much as possible because I know someday they may not want to hang out with me! I love your advice about talking to children. It's so true.
as part of my EO (business) group I will be attending a seminar next month on spouses and kids. i guess i will be doing some advanced training! The couple that do this work are supposedly amazing. They're called the Eyres (spelling?). I'll report back in a blog next month! M.M.- I'm glad you had a great time in Japan!
