a little about me.

Postby charlie » Tue Apr 29, 2008 11:43 pm

hello i,m new here . :) Male and live in England in a tiny town ,right on the coast in the West Country .
i am absolutely passionate about my little rescue dogs,Chami and Charlie, before these bundles of fun i had little Billy for 12 long years,he was my shadow and best friend and i still miss him every single day.

i also love to cook and entertain, its no surprise i need to lose a few lbs from my tummy. :D
my other main passion is my garden, its around 2 acres, and i,ve made a series of 'themed rooms',i get completly lost in planting, cutting back, finding new shrubs which will grow in our inclement weather.
i also adore my home and seem to have an eye for making artistic changes.! (that of course is only my humble opinion as we all see things differently )

oh,and very inportantly,i am so interested in plastic surgery.....anything which will make me look and feel better....then bring it on. :o

warm wishes to everyone.

just updating.!
at last the weather is warmer ,and were getting some sunny days. :D
its wonderful to see the garden coming to life ,after the gloom of winter.!
the weekend was a national holiday, but i stayed home working hard in the garden......its no fun on our narrow roads when the traffic is so busy.!
unfortunatly i rarely bother to wear gloves when tending my plants ,so my hands are in desperate need of fat transfer.! although i use a hand cream i have yet to find one that really works.!
a new venture for me,is planting ,a fig tree, kumquat, blueberry, loganberry and olive.!
some of you might be interested to know that i live quite near Cheddar, where the famous cheese first originated.! its a tiny village at the bottom of a deep gorge ( like a mini Grand Canyon.)
sadly there is now only one small shop which makes Cheddar Cheese.!
i absolutely love any cheese, and there are now hundreds of different cheeses to choose from all across England.!
today i,ve been baking rhubarb tarte and Victoria sponge ......oh,and i forgot to mention the local fresh cream.!around this area we can buy 'clotted cream' ,i,m not sure how its made but its very thick with a kind of crust, which is served usually with scones,butter,jam,.......its lovely, but sooo fattening.!
i hope i hav,nt bored anyone.? :) :?:

I love clotted cream. I was raised in HK so there was quite of British influence during the era that it was a BCC. Also, I love Wallace and Gromit so I have a bit of a tainted perspective on how I see British cheese. I love Stilton!

well, i don't have any strong advice about how to stop smoking. acupuncture and behavioral modification may help but you would have to want to quit.
