lines on forehead

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

lines on forehead

Postby Nancy » Sun Apr 27, 2008 10:42 pm

I looked closely in the mirror and saw fine lines on my forehead. I have never had them before. I am in my late twenties and so shocked and disturbed by what I saw. I also have fine crowsfeet around my eyes. What can be done to get rid of those fine lines such as a filler. Is botox rec. for that, can it erase crows feet. Do you think costmetic creams work for erasing fine lines and wrinkles, I have spent so much money on creams in the hundreds to stop winkles and nothing has worked. Is it a waste of money. The commercials keep tempting me. I also saw a juvederm commercial that said that parenthesis have a place but not on your face. Those commericials make me tempted. Help!

botox is your cure. creams can help with skin texture/tone but forget erasing wrinkles. you need to knock out the source of wrinkles which is the muscle movement causing skin wrinkles. botox will do that. over time they will begin to fade. the more you use botox (like exercise) the more the wrinkles will go away. if you don't use botox, the wrinkles will definitely get worse over time. please watch my virtual consultation on botox and read my learning module to understand better. fillers are not good for these fine lines plus all they do is serve to window dress the problem. botox knocks out the root cause.
