nose and eyelid

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

nose and eyelid

Dear Dr. Lam
I've heard great reviews about you and I was planning on coming to you for an eyelid surgery and nose job. At first, I was thinking about going to Hanh Phuoc Victoria Cosmetic Surgery in Houston but I hadn't found enough research on it.
I have very small eyelids and I wear tape every night in order to create a crease. I take the tape off every morning and the crease lasts all day. Im' just sick and tired of wearing tape all the time and plan to get an eyelid surgery. I want to know how long the procedure would take and how long until I'm healed. My mom had it done in Chicago 2 years but her eye is all swollen now.
My nose has a dip in it by the bridge and I was wondering if you could add anything to that part of my nose and how you would do it? I don't want a complete nose surgery where a stick is stuck up my nose. Ive seen people do it and it looks awfully unnatural.

for eyelids, the recovery is 2 weeks to look a lot better, one month to look much better. if you are female, then wearing mascara will help a lot. 3 months for a lot of the swelling to be gone. 1 year for every little bit of swelling to go away. socially acceptable probably between 2 to 4 weeks.

for the nose, we can look at different techniques including injectables but i would have to see you to make that call. i don't want to answer vaguely here until we meet.
best,
sml
