Upper Lid Blepharoplasty

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

Upper Lid Blepharoplasty

Dr. Lam,
How long does swelling usually last for an upper lid blepharoplasty? I had mine 11 days ago and still have swelling but bruising is gone.

yes, that is normal. if you had it done by another PS, then it is impossible to make a comment in response since every PS is different and every result is different. You probably had it done by another PS since I rarely perform isolated upper eyelid blepharoplasties on my patients. Please ask your PS. It is unfair for me to make any kind of comment here.
