Juvey Plus Injections

Postby deedeeL » Mon Mar 31, 2008 1:06 pm

Hi, Dr. Lam. Wish I lived in your area, but I am down south which forced me to seek fillers elsewhere :) .

I had Juvey Plus put into the TT area last Thursday. It was not that much for that area as he only used one vial for my entire face. He also injected, the NLF on one side, and small place in the cheek with small fat loss. In the TT area I now have not blue but WHITE discoloration--it looks like it is exactly where he filled that area. Is this the Tyndall effect or something else? Also, I now have and did not prior to the filler, a dark area right below my tear duct area. Maybe a shadow he created? Very upsetting.

This was a double board certified PS who came highly recommended and I felt would do a good job. None of the areas he injected have been as I hoped with this area being the most disappointing.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thank you.

Btw, if you think this can be helped, I am seriously thinking of flying to TX to see you. I've thought about it all day and I'm tired of spending money on unskilled injectors. I'm not ready to take the fat plunge yet, but would be grateful for good results with one of the HAs.

Thank you.

the dark color is either a deep bruise or the product. you can have him try to dissolve what you don't like with Vitrase first. it would not be cost effective for you to come to me to do that. in the future, i would be happy to take care of you. btw, i am not a big fan of juvederm around the eyes. it tends to spread. as you know, i use only cannulas which most docs don't know how to use.
best,
