I appreciate the time you take to answer these questions. I am an asian male with bimaxillary protrusion and a therefore both my lips protrude and are abnormally large. I am planning to get orthodontic treatment in which I will have jaw surgery. Along with a large red portion of the lips, I have allot of tissue above my lips and between my nose as well, where I can easily pinch about an inch of tissue. Is this treated with lip reduction or is that area between the lips and nose a different procedure?

that is technically not a lip reduction. i would wait to see how your orthodontic/orthognathic work goes before making a judgment. that alone can make the change you are looking for. doing anything before then is dangerous and ill advised. if you cut out any of the white lip, you could make your red lip much worse. just wait until all dental/jaw work is done.
