9 months post restylane lump

Postby Sarasanders » Thu Feb 14, 2008 12:11 am

I had restylane injections done to my upper lip over 9 months ago and left that day with a firm but gel like lump in my lip. The people at the place where it was done said that it would go away, but it has been over 9 months and nothing has changed. It is slightly visible but more than anything I can feel it and it is very hard to ignore. As far as I can tell, none of the restylane has gone away and I am starting to worry as they said that it should all be gone by 9 months at the most. Is it common for restylane to last so long? Should I have something done about the lump? I am thinking about trying hyaluronidase as I've had that done before for cysts and never had a problem, but I don't know about using that in my lip. I can't seem to get a Dr. to talk to me but all the girls who work in the office tell me that it will go away and that it is nothing, however I am starting to really regret my decision to have anything done in the first place and would really appreciate some helpful information from a doctor.

Thanks!
Sarasanders

This is so easy. Just put a little hyaluronidase and your problem will be gone in 24 hours.
best,
