acne scarring

acne scarring

Dr Lam,
I have acne scars/rough texture on both of my temples i was wondering whether you think that a combination of laser resurfacing and microdroplet silicone would provide the most benifit for me. i have mostly shallow rolling scars and some shallow boxscar scars and poor texture. I have no icepick scarring. Thanks for your time.

Usually, for larger "potholes", silicone is enough. For bad texture, laser treatments can be supportive but typically do not provide enough change alone. Obviously, only an in-person consultation would have any merit in providing you useful information applicable to you personally.
