Upper Eyelid/Corner Eyelid and Nose Bridge Fullness

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)

Upper Eyelid/Corner Eyelid and Nose Bridge Fullness

Postby tam » Fri Feb 01, 2008 9:33 pm

Hi Dr. Lam-

I hope my favorite Doctor is doing well. I miss you and the girls! I love the outcome of your fat transfer you did in September, 06. I know you were conservative with the upper eye area/nose bridge area due to my scar tissue from other attempts to soften the bone area, etc.

You asked me to be patient and wait about 6 months to see if you could do more fat transfer or maybe some other permanent filler. I do need some type of permanant filler in the upper eyelid, corner of eye by nose bridge and on the sides of the nose bridge to soften my look.

Your thougts? Am I touchup material or do I need something else?

Talk to you soon!

Hi Dr. Lam-

I was able to get in to see you this Friday at 4:45. YEA!!

As I stated before, we were conservative with the fat transfer in September due to my scar tissue, etc. You wanted to see how the original fat transfer did and I have to say it looks great! I am hoping to get more volume in the upper eyelid (orbital rim), side of nose bridge (right above tear trough to top of nose) and lower jaw area.

Until I can have a touch-up, I would like to have a temporary filler for my upper eyelids so, hopefully, you have something I can $$ and you can inject me with on Friday. :-)

Everyone, he does great work. I will use no other doctor from this point forward. :D

Hi,
In most cases, I am not a big fan of putting anything but fat into the upper eyelid. It is hard for me to replicate how smooth and beautiful fat looks like in the upper eyelid. Conservative restylane injections are okay but don't approximate fat grafting. Let's talk when I see you, and thank you so much for the kind words to my faithful readers of this forum!
See you Friday,
SML
