otoplasty, nose job, and acne

Postby ugly101 » Wed Jan 23, 2008 6:54 pm

hello,

i would like to fix several things. what i would like to fix first is my nose. my nose isn't extremely big compared to other asian noses, but the thing that bothers me is my face is shaped smaller than the average person so it makes my nose appear bigger. maybe by reducing the size down a notch, especially on the front, and possibly add a bridge to make it look taller (i have a bridge already but it's not that tall), my face will look more even. i would also like to fix my ear. the left ear decided not to make the same fold as the right ear (i am very content with my right ear), so my face looks unsymmetrical :x ... lastly i would like to clear every single acne scar on my face and maybe change the skin complexion a bit... i am an asian male (my face is always unevenly red for some apparent reason), but i want a snowy white skin complexion like those famous asian male celebrities...

please tell me how much money i'd have to pay in order to make my face handsome. i feel so insecure and down all the time because i don't think i am handsome enough. i have been debating for a long time whether i should get plastic surgery. i think i have finally come to the conclusion that i should! :)

These questions you ask are difficult for a number of reasons:
1. First, we need to establish REALISTIC expectations. To clear every acne scar is not possible.
2. I have never met you and have no idea how to price anything until we have a consultation.
3. It sounds as if a psychologist to help you along may be a better start, especially if you are depressed about your face.

I would love to help you but I would like you to start by helping yourself first.
best,

oh. hmm, if you can clear most and make the skin look better than i'll be happy. :) does your treatment also clear acne on people's body? i have a lot of acne scars on both my back and chest and i feel really embarrassed when i take my shirt off in front of people. :(

2. I have never met you and have no idea how to price anything until we have a consultation.

i would go for a consultation, but i live out of state. :( maybe you can tell me the estamate prices for these surgeries?

-otoplasty (1 ear) = $?
-rhinoplasty = $?
-acne laser treatment = $? (i think this one is harder to tell, but i would like to know the average cost for an asian male with severe acne scars)

3. It sounds as if a psychologist to help you along may be a better start, especially if you are depressed about your face.

that is actually a good idea. i will seek help from a psychologist soon. :D

hi,
first, unfortunately, i don't treat acne scarring of the body since i only specialize in the face. second, it is so hard to give a price on acne scarring because i have no idea what you need or what is going on. in general, if i use silicone microdroplets, the cost is $700 per treatment with usually about 2 to 3 necessary. if i use CROSS acne treatments, the cost is $500 per treatment with about 3 to 4 necessary. but all that can be variable. a nose in general costs about 7500 and one ear about 2000. but don't hold me to exact numbers. prices do change over time. hope you find help first with the way you see yourself before i can help you.
