Dear Dr. Lam,
I am a 30 y/o male and I seem to have developed fat pad atrophy or thinning of the fat pad in my feet. This resulted from running in concrete 5 times a week for many years and possibly exacerbated due to excess weight and poor footwear. Anyways it now constantly hurts to walk and even standing for long periods of time creates a deep/dull ache. I am very concerned as there does not seem to be a treatment available to restore this natural cushion and even worse it generally does not regenerate on its own so there is a strong possibility that it will only get worse as it continues to deteriorate.
Have you had experience with Fat Grafting to heel/feet? If not, do you think this would be an effective solution to this problem?
Thanks!
