lost cheekbone and temple fat pad

Postby yassine8888 » Thu Jan 24, 2013 8:39 am

Hello Dr Lam, I am 25 years old(male). After an excessive diet and sport training, my facial roundness melted and my face sagged completely 2 years and half ago. I did get healty diet after, i took back fat in my face but not in the cheekbone area and the contour of the eyes (bonish area that goes to the ears and up for the temples). I,m looking for something permanent to restore that bonish area volume please, i dont want any temporary fillers. I live in mobtreal Canada and i would like to travel to your center to help me please.
Is it something that could be corrected.
Does artfill work well and definitly for my issue.

yes artefill works well but remember you do not have the option for a lot of weight gain. i am the master of putting artefill into temples etc. with microcannulas. you must have a skin test as you know and wait at least 3 days or longer before doing the procedure.

i use one cannula but multiple syringes. i would need to see you but i am guesstimating between 2 to 8 syringes depending on how hollow you are.

Im talking sir about this region wich i lost the fat bump after the weight loss wich brought my eyelid under it originnal position(under the eyes). By injecting this area, between the eyes and the ears, will that rejuvenate because i lift just pull up a bit with my fingers the skin in this region, the eyelid took back the original place and the look is younger and not tired any more. The porblem is that i really fell the bone near the ears. What are yout toughts about it and how many seringues will be needed you think to recreate that bump

wait! this is your photo? i guess a picture worth a thousand words. your face still looks full??? honestly, i would not do fillers. based on the photo, i think it is a mistake. in your age bracket, truly think of the temporary fillers. lifting and filling are not the same thing, and you do not need either one. read these blogs:

Hello sir, it looks full on the photos but the bonish part between the eyes and the ears is hollowed wich gives me a sad look, when i touch my face, it is full untill i arrive to the area that im talking, then it feels sunken and the bone is realy present

honestly, i would go with restylane, something temporary but that after a few rounds would last well for you. i just want to make sure that it would age well for you. i am thinking of your long-term safety.

yes, radiesse is good. i stopped using it because i have noticed that the tissues become progressively harder the more you put in but you need several rounds to start seeing that.
