Hi Dr. Lam,

I have struggled with TMJ since my early teens, and have developed painful bruxism as well as an unfeminine jawline. I wish I could fly to see you, but that really isn't in my budget right now.

I am in San Francisco, do you have any recommendations for doctors around here or even in other places in California? Or when choosing a doctor do you have any advice? I really do not want to end up lopsided or with a loopy smile.

I don't have a recommendation for you but I would go to someone who has at least been doing it for a few years and can show you some before and after photos.
