if you place it really superficially in the superficial dermis, it can stain the skin and cause long-term pigmentation, doubtfully permanent. if you stay in the deep dermis or below, i have never seen a problem and that includes the risk of atrophy. s.

sebaceous cysts MUST be removed. you do not want to inject them with anything. acne cysts most likely they won't work. that is an inflammatory problem not a scarring problem.

no more closely than every 6 weeks but obviously you can space it much longer than that. i would not do more than 3 to 4 rounds since it probably won't be doing a lot at that point. s.

I had a local excision done and it didn't go well. It's better than what I previously had had, but I traded a bump for a hole. A punch was used and I think that is a big part of the problem.
I've been talking to someone who had several excisions and they healed with NO scarring. In short of an in depth explanation it was due to doing only scalpel excisions and he made sure that were closed everted and then used mattress sutures so that there is no tension on the incision line. In addition it was kept moist and steristrips were used for the 1-3 months after as well as even trying not to move the face as much as possible and he ended up completely scar free for all his boxcar and ice pick scars. Is that the method you use? I am looking to have that done now ASAP. Basically do you do everted closure scalpel excisions with mattress sutures to reduce tension and scar formation?
yes, i do all of scalpel, eversion, mattress things you are talking about but honestly your situation the result will worsen i would suspect. i would really leave well enough alone. sometimes pushing your luck can lead to more problems rather than solutions.
