Acne scar

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on managing, treating, and correcting acne scarring. (Of note, Dr. Lam is focused principally on acne scarring rather than on managing the ongoing condition of acne, which a dermatologist would be better equipped to address.)

Acne scar

Hi Dr.Lam im new in this forum and i was hoping if you could give me some insight on what is the best way to treat this kind of acne scars and what type of acne scar is it?

your problem it looks like more is active acne than scarring with pigmentation being the only really scarring that is the main problem. i would work with a bleaching product like hydroquinone or my ova product in the AM has a very solid bleaching product in it that is all natural (ova-skin.com). time will allow this color to fade but it may take months to a year or more for that to happen.
