any hope for this??

Postby pezz » Thu Nov 01, 2012 8:38 pm

i was injected with way too much silicone in my glabellar area several months ago. The lump feels very hard and sometimes the area becomes red and itches. I have tried 3 cortisone injections which did not help at all. Ive read sometimes the silicone can be excised but it could leave the area worse. I dont know what to do, am i supposed to walk around with a huge lump between my eyes?? :|

hmmm. i would give it time to settle down. you could use 5FU injections but i don't have a good answer for you. you probably have to cut it down but i am not your man. the risk of scarring may not be worth it.

A doctor i emailed says he could try endoscopic surgery similar to a browlift to remove silicone/tissue in the forehead area. Have you heard of this?? Does it sound feasible??..apparently it wont leave a scar.

simply put, impossible. but you can ask him to see his before and afters of this technique if he truly has had success with this technique. i cut out lips with silicone all the time but the lip tissue must be removed with the silicone since the silicone is completely integrated into the tissue. you can't separate it.
