laser

Hey doctor,

Is there any lasers that can be performed on ethnic patients (light brown)? Do you perform any of them on ethnic patients for hyperpigmentation (dark spots) from acne?

if you are light brown or beyond, i simply do not do lasers due to the risk being just too high for my comfort.
sorry,

Thanks for your reply. I have one more question. I have really small holes or dents right above my lip line, about 4. Ive had them for as long as i can remember, i guess i was born with them? I really dont know how else i would have them. Is there any fillers or injections that could get rid of these?

you really cannot fill holes and it would be dangerous to cut them out. you can do a TCA CROSS technique in which a strong acid (100% TCA) is applied to the depth of the hole to scar it closed. it may take 2 to 3 rounds to do it but if you are going to do this you must find someone qualified because you can easily make them worse if you don't have sufficient experience doing the procedure.
best,
