Bruxism

Postby PaulHarry1 » Sat Sep 15, 2012 6:56 pm

Hi Dr. Lam

I was given a mouthguard by my dentist to prevent me from grinding my teeth and he told me that the grinding was the cause of the swelling underneath my ears. The swelling looks like large puffy ovals on both cheeks. I was wondering if you think either the mouthguard will reduce the swelling or if, after I had botox, the mouthguard would prevent the swelling from reoccurring.

Thanks very much for your help

Paul Harry

hard for me to say but botox may help with the bruxism and thereby relieve the swelling and pain.
