Force on implant

Postby anonymous137 » Mon Sep 03, 2012 6:29 pm

Hello,

I had Asian rhinoplasty done about 4 weeks ago. I am pretty satisfied with the result, except for the fact that the silicone implant is slightly crooked to the left at the top of my bridge.

This might sound dumb, but for the past week I have been slightly pushing the implant to the right, but with not too much force (no pain or anything like that). It has actually been looking straighter/better as a result. I'm just wondering if there is anything to be concerned with this? Such as loosening of the implant, etc

Thank you.

this is something that you should ask your surgeon. in general, i think what you are doing is probably ok if it is done gently but again i would defer to your surgeon since i do not do single piece silicone implants anymore.
best,
