LAM FACIAL PLASTICS

Dr. Lam, would you be able to recommend a facial plastic/cosmetic surgeon in San Diego to remove facial moles? I really wish I lived by your center so I can utilize your services.

Also, does it matter whether he/she is a plastic or cosmetic surgeon?

i cannot officially make any recommendations for another surgeon and in my opinion credentials don't matter as much as quality results and if he explains to you carefully how he would approach the situation. a facial plastic surgeon (obviously no bias, lol) is in my opinion the best equipped to handle facial moles because he/she understands the anatomy well and better than most other surgeons.

I notice that some surgeons will charge for a consultation and some others do not. Is this an indicator of their abilities?

no, i don't believe so. it could be a reflection of geography, i.e., maybe some areas are more typical of having fees than others. sometimes a surgeon has fees because he may be busier and needs to cut through the patients who are just price shopping. others may not have fees because they prefer it that way.
