Hi Dr. Lam,

thanks so much for investing your time in that forum and sharing your experience with us. As you know already I have been contemplating getting a permanent filler in the cheeks like Silicone 1000.

I know silicone is contraindicated to invasive lasers like CO2 cause it may burn. On the other hand, is it ok to have plasma skin resurfacing while having silicone or other permanent filler like aquamid or bio-alcamid in the face?

I hope you saw my warnings regarding extensive cheek silikon just for volume augmentation, especially in someone young like you. that being said, i don't see a problem with silicone being done before or after plasma resurfacing if the silicone is done right.

although i am familiar (but have no clinical experience) with both aquamid and bio-alcamid, it would be entirely inappropriate to talk about products that are not FDA approved in the United States.
