Otoplasty surgery

Postby amandascott51 » Thu Jun 14, 2012 5:56 am

Hi,
I heard about prominent ears and my friends daughter has just undergone otoplasty surgery. Is this prominent ear inheritable? any way to prevent it?
thanks

it is inheritable to a large extent. the coolest thing i saw to "prevent" this is in babies just born, they put a mold on the ear and keep it for i don't know how long and the ear grows out normally!
