Scar Revision for a scar from Mole removal

Hi Dr.Lam.
Thank you for such an amazing forum, and your conscientious approach.
I have a question regarding, a mole i had removed through excision,in which stitches were removed after 7-1o days was only 2-3mm slightly raised.
I had it removed 4-5 years ago and was considering weather it can be an option for scar revision.
Funnily enough after the surgery for 3 years the scar was hardly visible, when a bit of make up was applied, over time, in the last two years...I noticed it seems to have become very prominent, unsightly and white...and what appears to me....it looks stretched.its the only reason I can think off it suddenly becoming more prominent..since it was a lot smaller after the surgery.

Now I don't know if this is due to the plastic surgeons technique or the way my skin has healed.ageing e.t.c..or if this due to the location as it is on the jaw line.
Either way I would really appreciate if you could offer me advise of what sort of scar this is? and if scar revision such as z plasty if any you a good idea? Look forward to hearing from you.
Many thanks

Sorry not sure why the photo is so enlarged on the forum makes it less visible!
TO go to the scar use the horizontal scroller and take it to the far right.

i always say let the punishment fit the crime, meaning if something is not that bad i am worried that i would make it worse. if i remove the white area and do a geometric broken line repair there is a chance that you would change a white patch into something worse in appearance or that would require multiple trips to fix. i would honestly say that i probably would not fix it or if your skin did not tan much to do some very conservative micro pigmentation (tattooing) by an expert individual to just improve it a shade.
best,
s.
