My nose cartilage keeps shifting position

Postby Prolactic » Fri May 18, 2012 9:18 am

Hi Dr Sam,

I am 18 years old and about a year ago my nose was injured in a Sport accident. This resulted in a hump on my nose. It also created a problem where my nose cartilage keeps shifting giving my nose a slightly different look. I can actually feel, when I touch my nose that it is in a different position. Sometimes when my nose shifts it results in a painful throbbing pain where my hump is and can also cause slight breathing problems. Have you ever heard about nose cartilage shifting positions like this?

I'm really worried about this and would be grateful for some input from you.

Thanks
Prolactic
