Stahl's Ear Surgery

Postby nana12 » Thu May 17, 2012 10:37 am

I hope this message finds you well. I am interested in correcting my ear deformity known as Stahl's Ear (Pointy Ear). I am currently researching and looking for a surgeon who can successfully perform my surgery for me. Your website is very informative and I was hoping that you can view my picture and let me know if you think it can be corrected. Also, do you have experience reshaping Stahl's Ears. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

i don't have experience with this condition. but i have fixed many weird helical irregularities and may actually have done a Stahl's and did not know it. your links don't work. could you attach a photo here?

this does not look straightforward. i do not have a great answer for you but need to do some research and thinking about it.

ok, this can be improved. i have figured out a good technique that will improve but not make it perfect. the trick is to do a "starplasty" technique removing the point and the anti helical extension going to the helical rim. if you are interested, i can help you. :)
