injectable fillers

Postby danndee » Sun May 13, 2012 4:03 am

I have a little line type indention on my nose near the round part of the nose at the bottom. Its not huge But it really bothers me I think it was a pore at on point and it seemed to turn into a line type indenture and I've always disliked my nose growing up. I never liked to take pictures of myself and I have always thought about rhinoplasty but I was always to scared to get it done and if I did I have the marks on my nose. I'm not getting any younger I'm 44 and I wish I could finally be more comfortable with my nose.I would like to know if these marks can be filled with a filler of some sort. I'm hoping there is a way? If I could send you picture of it I would but I just don't know how. I would be scared you would just tell me it cant be done But I'm hoping it can. Can you please let me know about marks on the nose and fillers thank you

a photo could help but still may be misleading without seeing you in person. many lines if they are fine cannot be filled but could either be excised surgically with a geometric broken line repair (scar revision) or dermabraded. if the line is on the nose itself i would not do a geometric line as that could heal much worse. again, it would depend on the location, depth, etc. of the line. i can't answer the question just from a description.
best,
