Myth or Fact

Postby pheonixia » Thu Apr 26, 2012 7:28 pm

There are a lot of rumors surrounding plastic surgery.
For example, if a woman gets full body surgery then a man cannot touch those parts (eg. boobs, butt, etc.) without damaging them. I have never gotten surgery, but this is a myth that I am wondering about after watching the Korean movie 200 Pound Beauty.
My question is after plastic surgery does a person's body part become more fragile? (eg. in the case of a nose job). And if so how fragile? Is it easier to damage?

Thank you for your time.

as far as the nose, no. after 6 months or further scar tissue holds the tissues as strong if not stronger than before. i would believe the same holds true for the body, but as you probably know on here i do not do body work.

Thank you for the reply. What do you mean by scar tissue? Is it visible on the face? ...because in Korea celebrities often get facial surgeries but no one can really tell if they have or haven't.

no scar is inside. it is just a part of healing that holds tissues together so sutures do not need to do that after a short time.
