Dr Lam
I'm a male in my 30s. I'm interested in the upper lip lift procedure to shorten the distance between my nose and upper lip (it's really excessive). However, I have considerable vermilion show and I fear the upper lip lift will add further volume to my upper lip. My upper lip is already protruding and larger than my lower lip and I could also greatly benefit from upper lip reduction. My question is, can upper lip lift and upper lip reduction be done at the same time? Have you done this before? Would you recommend it?
I know that you don't like upper lip lifts because they add unnatural volume to the upper lip, but wouldn't a lip reduction procedure at the same time offset it? I would only do a conservative 4 mm upper lift, not more than that, and hoping for about 2-3mm reduction of the upper lip. Is this doable?
Thank you.
