Mole removal on left cheek

Postby katelynnbrangard » Tue Apr 03, 2012 1:05 am

Dr Lam,
First off I would like to say that I think you are amazing! I have watched your mole removal videos and have to say I am impressed with how meticulous you are. I am 21 years old and have had this mole on my face for about 11 years. It has killed my confidence and lowered my self esteem. I am sick of it, I want this gone. I have done my research and I feel most comfortable with you possibly removing it. However I do live in San Antonio but would be more than willing to drive up there for the procedure, recovery check ups, and any other appointment I would need to make. I also have family up there that I could stay with because summer is coming up. I wish I could relay to you how desperate I am. I have examined your before and after photos of the mole cheek removal and would LOVE those results. I understand everybody heals differently but I trust you! I just want beautiful clear skin! Please help!

yes, you look like a good candidate but remember you can have a scar that could be worse. that is of limited risk since i would perform an exceedingly meticulous removal but as you stated you may have to see me a few times for laser and injectables to make sure it heals well. you would also have to purchase some silicone gel (kelo-cote or scar-guard are both fine) for the first 9 to 12 weeks. if you are interested, give my office a call 972-312-8188. remember though that you will always have a line there. my goal is to make the line hard to see as the incision fades. :)
