Hello dr. lam, first of all let me tell you that I admire your work. I have 2 problems, for all my life I have felt that my cheeks are too wide and I have done Buccal fat pad removal which gave me some nice results but I still feel that my cheeks are wide. About an year ago I went to get some botox injected to my masseter muscles but the results were subtle if at all...I dont know how many units my doctor injected and I dont know if i am a good candidate for that procedure even that my masseter muscle is rock hard and you cant even press it when i clench my teeth. My jaw is not fully squared and I would love to send you some private pictures for you to judge. My other question is can a doctor inject botox into the buccinator muscle as well to emphasize even more the buccal fat pad results? Thanks!
thanks for the comments. i would have to see a photo but really feel your jawline. i truly believe i should be able to help given what you said. the buccinator in my opinion is not a good idea because it can risk facial nerve compromise. best, s.

Hey! I'm thinking baout botox injections, but I'm not sure if it's safe..I have read so many reviews about botox injections that I can't make my mind and decided whether I should do it..What would you recommend? Is it painful? How long does it take to recover after the injections?
sorry, i took the link out because i do not allow links here to other sites. however, suffice it to say that Botox is very safe in the right hands and in my hands (and rarely in others) it is almost completely painless. very hard to believe until you have tried my work. with my treatments i get faster and cleaner results than anyone else. to understand why Botox is the single best and only method to help heal the skins, please just watch my videos (maybe all of them): http://www.lamfacialplastics.com/galler ... gs_/Botox/
