This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on various surgical techniques for facial rejuvenation, including fat transfer/fat grafting, browlift, blepharoplasty (cosmetic eyelid surgery), facelift, etc. Also, this category includes questions on hand rejuvenation via fat grafting. (Of note, Dr. Lam does not perform body rejuvenation except for hand fat grafting)
Hi Dr Lam. I had fat grafting to my upper eyelid two years ago and it has been pushing down my eyes ever since. I am not sure why this happened because I read it was suppose to make you look younger but it has pushed down my eyes and made them look smaller. I had a natural triple eyelid before and I have a negative canthal tilt. Is there any possible way to remove the grafts. I feel the chunks of fat in there (they move around). Thank you, Nadine
sounds as if too much was placed there. it is hard to remove fat when too much is placed but i through a standard blepharoplasty incision the fat can be removed delicately to reduce the bulk. s.
