I recently had stitches in lip after injury. Yesterday afternoon my doctor removed the stitches, the photo you can see how it is my lips now. I am not at all happy with the results. The doctor told me only to jar for same days bactroban... However I want to do our best to have the best result.

Also I feel hard the perimeter under scar area... What would you recommend to me I do; Would help the 5fu or some ointment or should I wait and do it later revision of the scar;

even the use of any of these would help the situation; kelo-cote, vitamine c, aloe vera, mederma, massage with bio-oil... e.t.c

unfortunately, i cannot give you direct medical advice to your situation. however, in general, things immediately after surgery may not look good until things start to settle down but always ask your surgeon. i only use 5FU down the road if scars become thicker.
