well, if the hole is elongated but not through the bottom of the ear or has not stretched it, then i just cut the hole out and close it in 2 layers. if it is almost torn through, torn through, or actually stretching the lobe, i do this very fancy cool technique that is almost impossible to describe on here that shortens the scar, protects the scar from becoming an ugly line, and also prevents notching at the bottom. best, s.

The hole is elongated but not through the bottom of the ear, also my ear lobes are kind of thick. Do you have any pictures of this procedure? can I keep studs in after procedure? Thanks
if it is elongated enough to justify shortening, i would do a through-and-through correction, that is, i would complete the split so that i can shorten it. i do not have a photo but i can draw it for you when you come in. also, for proprietary reasons, i am not going to post it on here. sorry. no studs and in fact no holes in your ears for 3 months. then i can repierce it for you with really ZERO pain. i am really good with needles. s.
