filler for upper lids?

Postby hanna1 » Sun Feb 19, 2012 9:32 am

dr lam,
i had an eyelid revision about 10 months ago to fix some multiple lidding. the dr had to excise some skin and now i feel my they are a bit big for my liking. in your opinion, do you think a filler could help achieve a more hooded look? have you had much success in lowering a fold by adding a filler in the upper lids? i have heard it is dangerous to do this, and yet i have also heard it is possible. if so, can it be placed near the incision line, or just near the brows? i just want maybe about a mm or 2 lowered to give my eyes more of a relaxed look.

thank you.

i do this every day. i cannot guarantee a lower fold but it should be fuller with a decent chance it will lower. i use Restylane (temporary) or Artefill (permanent) to do this every day. I use specialized cannulas so that I get smooth, non-lumpy results. :)
