Question about tx?

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on managing, treating, and correcting acne scarring. (Of note, Dr. Lam is focused principally on acne scarring rather than on managing the ongoing condition of acne, which a dermatologist would be better equipped to address.)

Question about tx?

Postby Jo33 » Fri Feb 03, 2012 9:17 pm

Hi Dr. Lam,
I was wondering if you could tell me what treatment would be best for my type of scarring? Some of my scars look like deep pin-points and others are wide and shallow. I've had 4 Fraxel treatments done, but they did not help! Thank you for your time.

i may try one round of silicone and one round of TCA CROSS spread out at least 3 months between sessions to see how the collagen grows. i would be very careful not to over treat these areas.
