Treatment after Kidney Transplant

This section of the forum is dedicated to discussions on managing, treating, and correcting acne scarring. (Of note, Dr. Lam is focused principally on acne scarring rather than on managing the ongoing condition of acne, which a dermatologist would be better equipped to address.)

Treatment after Kidney Transplant

Hi Dr. Lam,

I have some acne scarring on my cheeks that I wanted to get treated. However, my concern is that I received a kidney transplant less than a year ago and as a result of that, I am taking a couple of medications that suppresses my immune system. Are there any concerns you have with the treatments you provide for a patient such as myself? I appreciate it. Thanks.
